About

Background

I am a senior economist at Amazon Japan supporting the Stores business. Prior to Amazon I served as an assistant professor of economics at Singapore Management University. There I focused on applied and structural microeconomics, with a particular interest in spatial and urban economics and its intersection with digitization.

My academic training is in industrial organization and applied microeconomics. I completed my Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Minnesota in 2018 with research on platform competition, transportation markets, electric vehicles, and applied empirical methods.
